in the word
This Lenten Season we are journeying through Ephesians as a part of the In The Word Challenge. I have challenged you to dig into the Word of God in a weeklong meditation on the chapters of Ephesians knowing that there will also be a high level of accountability. Here is what the challenge said: By signing up I am committing to reading, meditating and responding to a chapter a week of Ephesians. I will be sharing with Pastor my progress and insights and he will be holding me accountable to this promise.

This Bible challenge has come to an end. It was a learning experience full of joy and insights.
I look forward to the next journey into God's Word.

In The world
In this second part of the sermon series on the occasion of Advent. We are challenged to take our time In the Word and apply it to how we spend our time In the World. How do we serve others by being fully present for them? How and when to we share the message of Jesus?
First we'll look at our time, talents and treasures, next we find those places where God has already offered the opportunity to connect with those who don't follow Jesus and finally how can we be a Christ-bearing good friend to those God has already been challenging with a picture of a bigger worldview.
